Immoral Decency doesn’t like to place boundaries on the way you can react to other players. But in building ourselves a reputation for high quality PVP’ers, we must also take-care not build a reputation for being assholes in the process.
Therefore we expect members to follow the basic code of Civility:
Internal Civility
Members are expected to maintain a level of civility with other members of the guild. We don’t expect you to like everyone you meet, but we do expect you to start on good terms. If you have an issue with another member, take it to PM and discuss it privately. If the issue happens to affect or involve other members of the guild, speak to a Sergeant, an Officer or even the GM. We don’t want to see an argument spill out into the guild channel, its immature and bad for morale.
External Civility
It’s not in our agenda to discipline you if you happen to get into an argument with somebody outside the guild. You will however give rise to concern if you decided to resort to personal insults and outright flaming. We are a sociable guild by nature so we generally assume members will treat others with a basic level of respect. However there are those that aren’t friendly in nature, simply put, we don’t want another GM reporting you for profanely attacking other players in the game for not playing their class.
PVP Etiquette
After defeating your opponent feel free to be proud with your achievements. But keep in mind, in every battle there’s a loser and while spitting/dancing/pissing on his corpse may seem amusing to you, it’s not as humorous to the person on the other side. We expect members to show respect to defeated opponents. However, this rule is rendered ignorable when the person in question has not been respectful to you or other members.
This rule also applies to corpse camping. You’ve achieved your victory, there’s no need to ruin the other players next hour of game play by keeping his corpse warm. Again, this rule does not apply if you have been corpse camped by said person in the past.
Ninja Looting
Any reports of Ninja looting that are backed up with evidence and accurate testimonials will result in the person in questions dismissal. There will be a brief period when the person can provide counter evidence or testimonials, before being removed from the guild without warning.
Any breach of the above rules will place the person in question under the scrutiny of an Officer or the GM. Punishment is subjective to each individual case and is decided by the person performing the investigation.
